Just a few "golden nuggets" of info that I've mined from the internet.

Not-so-Free software and services:

This service gives you a free trial:
"Do you miss calls from friends and family when you’re surfing the Internet and tying up your phone line? Are you paying $20-$30 a month on a second phone line just for your computer? Solve these problems with Pagoo Call Catcher. When you are connected to the Internet, Pagoo Call Catcher picks up and records callers' voice messages just like an answering machine. As soon as a message is recorded, you are notified immediately and can listen to it on your PC, either with the Pagoo Player or through a private web page—all without getting off-line. You'll never miss calls while browsing the Internet again!"

http://www.rocketdownload.com/Details/inte/buzz3d.htm a review.
http://pcusers.org/pcfree.html
Buzz3d is a web browser that allows you open up to 48 web pages simultaneosly. When you start you are in a 3D mall. You can move around the mall like you are in a 3D game like Doom. The walls on the mall have 48 web windows. When you first start the program loads a website into each web window (this took a few minutes on my pitiful 26000 connect speed). After they are loaded they are saved into the programs cache so the next time they load instantly. To enter a website you walk into the wall and the program switches to a 2D browser. To exit the 2D browser you hit the button and you are taken back to the 3D mall. 40 of the web walls can have the displayed website changed by the user. Some features are not yet functional in this beta release.

Tip #1

You may still be using some older 16-bit programs -- which may not get along with 32-bit Windows. The good news is: you may be able to make those errant apps behave themselves. click the Start button, select the Run command, then type: "MKCOMPAT" (without the quotes). You'll now be able to select the problematic 16-bit program and tweak its settings to better work in a 32-bit environment. Turn on the 'Advanced Options' for extended tweaking.

Tip #3

There is a utility in Windows 98 that can help you restore older versions of system files that that have been replaced by newer versions by installed software .This replacement can sometimes cause software or even Operating System failure. Click the Start button, select the Run command, then type: "VCMUI" (without the quotes). The Version Conflict Manager will launch and display a list of possibly troublesome files (which you may then fix with the click of a button). an additional article on this problem can be found at

The following is provided as a public service announcement, sent in by reader "GL," owner of the Mind Control Victims Experiences list: "I've decided to start a list called 'Mind Control Victims Experiences' (MCVE) using onelist.com....All victims worldwide are welcomed. As the title has indicated, this is a list for the victims to share their personal experiences on MC. Perpetrators are not welcome. I'll be moderator, list observer, and occasionally would like to take part in the list discussion and share with the list members my own experiences, thoughts, and feelings on MC. We might not know all the aspects of the MC under the operation of military agencies, intelligence circles, and local cults.... Even the FBI or CIA agents won't know what they're doing in the mess of the MC tragedies. They, the agents, only perform what they are told to carry out their missions. In a sense, the targeted, the victim, is their commodity, with some code names on the file."
